The Club Isn't the Best Place to Find a Singer

so the lounge is where we go. Isn't that right, Ed?

I'll be honest, a late start on a Monday night was initially cringe-worthy (especially after graduating to gma status last week), but I think I speak for everyone when I say that LLOMC (Lizard Lounge Open Mic Challenge) touched our hearts and ears irreversibly. In the unexpected and unassuming cave beneath Cambridge Commons, we came face-to-face with our first viable and worthy space to orchestrate a true mosh pit -- whether we did or not is a separate matter. Our host for the evening, George Wood, had a charming way of blending together chill vibes, supportive strangers, and soulful talent. As if those weren't enough to get us amped up, Cole and Tiffany (God bless female bassists) - together The Alchemist - indie rocked the stage!
