It's a low-energy highly-immunized kind of Monday. Wishing everyone a healthy holiday season - I hope it's filled with less anxiety and more loved ones than last year. I'm struggling to comprehend how we've once again reached the year's end, and that I'm penning the final recap of 2021. Feels like just yesterday we were piling onto St. Peter's Field for our first in-person event since the pandemic -- our dodgeball tournament. I've met and befriended so many new moshers through this year's events and I can't thank you enough for showing up during a year of tricky transitions, and trusting me with your time and health. I'll be in touch in the new year with our Spring 2022 calendar of events because you bet we're gonna mosh on. In the meantime, I welcome any feedback you may have on event ideas and/or how these events can be improved: Mosh Pit Mondays Feedback Form R E C A P

In full transparency, I truly despise ice skating:

But Fenway's Rink at 401 Park, sandwiched by Trillium Brewery and Timeout Market, was too cute a holiday activity to pass up on. We had moshers of all skate levels taking to the ice for the first time in years, either reliving fond memories of old or patting ourselves proudly for finding the courage to try something new. For the terrified, we clung to the balance-support blue whales, gaining confidence with each glide, and even riding the whale for a few seated victory laps around the rink. The too-tight-for-comfort rental skates did a number on our tender ankle bones, but we retreated to Trillium afterwards to warm up with some you-better-not-pout Stouts.
